Monticello, Iowa --The 34th Annual Horn Automotive Engineering Rod & Custom Car Show, will be held on Saturday & Sunday, February 22 & 23, 2003 at the Monticello Berndes Center (Youth Center Building) in Monticello, Iowa. The show, held annually since 1970, is one of the oldest of it's type in Iowa.

Featured will be all kinds of Street Rods, Customs, Street Machines, Race Cars, Pickups and Motorcycles on display and in competition for Budweiser Trophies and Hardee's Cash Awards.

Other show features include celebrities Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick (NHRA drag racing), Chris Horn (NASCAR truck series), Dave Palmer (disc jockey music and show commentator) and Sparkles the Clown. Plus the 18th Annual Model Car Contest (with trophies and model kit awards), spectator voting for People's Choice Awards and much more. Public show hours from noon to midnight Saturday and from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. Sunday. Monticello is located 35 miles from Cedar Rapids and Dubuque on U.S. Highway 151.
